Chayton Tsela Alo was born in NYC and has lived & played music everywhere from Jerusalem to the Colorado Rockies. Chayton's first guitar lesson in Houston in 1991 launched a lifetime of guitar playing, performing & teaching. Chayton's musical vibe follows the legends of the acoustic songwriter scene in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s and inspire his performance style, vocal nuances and appreciation for the poetry of lyrics. His 'busking' list includes over 1,000 songs with huge contributions from Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, John Hiatt & Nanci Griffith. Chayton's covers layer a deep blues feel to classic vocal hits.
